ABOUT
The jazz program is a before-school program for band students looking to join a fun, instructive and inspiring group of student musicians taught by Bob Athayde. The jazz program consists of two bands: the Jazz Crusaders and the Jazz Messengers.
The Jazz Crusaders meet from 7:20am - 8:05am on Mondays and Thursdays. The Jazz Messengers meet from 7:20am - 8:05am on Tuesdays and Fridays. ALL Crusaders and Messengers are welcome on Wednesdays from 7:20am - 8:50am to play more and hone their improvisation skills.
The Crusaders and the Messengers perform several exciting concerts throughout the year to showcase their hardwork and to share their music with parents and the greater Lafayette community.
